Take Action for MS before 12/31/23 – FAA Reauthorization

When was the last time you were on a flight? If you have mobility issues, it may have been a while. There are a lot of issues that people with disabilities face when they have to travel by air – for me, the biggest one is the bathroom. It’s literally impossible to fit a person and caregiver in that little closet, let alone a mobility device. I’ve also heard countless people talk about damage to their very expensive assistive devices when those have to be checked.

You can actually help right now by taking action before December 31. The National Multiple Sclerosis’s Activist Network has a quick and easy email form that you can fill out to ask Congress to pass a FAA reauthorization bill that includes accessible air travel. This action helps way more people that those with MS. Thank you for making our voices louder! Safe travels to anyone getting on a plane this holiday season too.
